WELCOME TO OUR TJ STATUE
This bronze statue of one of our alumni, Thomas Jefferson, was made in 1993, and it was given as a Tercentenary gift to the College from the University of Virginia, which was founded by Jefferson in 1819. It’s an old ‘admissions tour’ joke that someone followed the trajectory of his eyes and it went straight into an old women’s dormitory.
